ASUS is one of the pioneers of the netbook phenomenon, as their seven inch EEE PC models were extremely popular when released. The EEE PCs are still going strong, but ASUS has expanded the line up to include units with different sizes and capabilities, and other manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon with models of their own.
This review is going to take a look at one of the original ASUS netbooks, the EEE PC 4G 701. Some people may already be wondering why? If this review was published over a year ago it may have been new and exciting, but now there are so many other options to choose from.
